BATTERY MONITOR TERMINAL

The Battery Monitor Terminal continuously monitors each block of the UPS / standby battery and the ambient temperature in the battery room or cabinet.

If any of the battery blocks are outside the set parameters an alarm is activated via two potential free contacts or via SMS message service.

Individual block voltages and string currents can be read with the Battery Monitor Terminal (with additional slave modules).

Remote sites may be monitored with the addition of a GSM modem, thus freeing up valuable time of technicians and saving revenue on service contracts with Service Providers. The system can also be setup to send a SMS to service technicians to notify them of any problems on site. This improves the availability of the customer’s backup power supply.

The Battery Monitor Terminal was designed to be flexible so that single 48V telecom standby systems as well as medium to large UPS installations can be monitored effortlessly.

•  All logged data can be downloaded and viewed on a PC

•  19” x 4U rackmount supplied as standard with 19” x 1U rackmount options for Master Module (future option)

•  GSM modem connection for SMS warnings and data download (optional)
